Static Ad Animator

TurboAgents Static Ad Animator is an AI tool that takes one static ad image you already own and turns it into a short motion video — a push-in, a parallax drift, a light sweep or a gentle product rotate — at an intensity you control, so a creative that already works can compete in feeds that reward movement.

The ad you already have, now moving — and stopping thumbs.

Upload a finished static ad and pick how it should move. The aspect ratio is detected and locked so nothing is cropped, you choose a motion style and dial the intensity, and you get an MP4 back. It is deliberately the smallest tool here: no script, no voiceover, no re-design — your ad already says what it needs to.

What is Static Ad Animator?

Why a still ad underperforms a moving one that says the same thing.

Every major feed weights motion. A static image and a four-second video carrying identical artwork do not get the same distribution, which means a perfectly good creative can underperform for reasons that have nothing to do with the creative. Most brands respond by commissioning a whole new video, and most never get round to it.

Animating the still is the cheaper answer, and for a well-made ad it is often the better one — the layout, the hierarchy and the offer were already designed and approved. All that is missing is movement. This tool adds only that, and deliberately nothing else.

Ken Burns push-in
A slow zoom toward the subject. The safest motion for an ad with a lot of baked-in text, because everything moves together.
Parallax
Foreground and background drifting at different speeds, which reads as depth. Strongest on ads with a clear product against a distinct background.
Light sweep
A highlight travelling across the frame, like light moving over a surface. Good for packaging, metal and glass.
Motion intensity
How far the movement travels. Gentle settings keep baked-in text crisp; dynamic settings are more arresting but can warp letterforms.
The Problem

You have static ads that convert and a feed that quietly favours video. Rebuilding each one as a motion asset means a designer, an animator, or a new brief — so it never happens, and creative that already works keeps getting throttled for the one thing it lacks.

How It Works

1
Upload the ad
One finished static image, up to 5MB. The aspect ratio is detected and locked to whatever you uploaded, so a 4:5 feed ad stays 4:5 and nothing important gets cropped out of frame.
2
Choose how it moves
Pick a motion style — push-in, parallax, light sweep or a subtle product rotate — and set the intensity. Gentle keeps baked-in text crisp; dynamic is more arresting. The tool tells you which way to lean based on how much text your ad carries.
3
Download the MP4
One clip, silent by design, ready to upload wherever the static version already runs. Not what you wanted? Change the motion or the intensity and run it again.

What You Get

  • A motion version of your adThe artwork you already approved, moving, as a downloadable MP4.
  • Your aspect ratio, lockedDetected from the upload, so a 4:5 stays 4:5 and nothing important leaves the frame.
  • Four motion stylesPush-in, parallax drift, light sweep or a subtle product rotate, each suited to a different kind of ad.
  • Intensity you controlFrom barely-there to arresting, with guidance on which end your particular ad should sit at.
  • A pre-render checkResolution, aspect, safe area and text density, all reported before you spend anything.
  • A warning about your own textHeavy baked-in headlines are flagged, with the gentler setting recommended, rather than discovered after rendering.
  • Cheap re-runsChange the motion or the intensity and go again — the tool is small enough that iterating is the point.

More Than a Report

Where other market research tools stop, this keeps going.

Most tools hand you a PDF and walk away. TurboAgents gives you two things a static report can’t: charts you can actually use, and an analyst you can actually talk to.

Pick your movement

Four motions, each suited to a different ad

Motion is not decoration — the right movement depends on what is in the frame. A text-heavy offer ad wants a push-in, where everything travels together. A product on a clean background wants parallax or a light sweep. The tool recommends, you decide.

Two passes, and you pick the order
Ken Burns push-inSafest with text
Everything moves as one, so letterforms stay crisp
Parallax driftBest for depth
Product separates from the background and reads three-dimensional
Light sweepBest for packaging
Highlight travels across metal, glass and foil
Subtle product rotateBest for a hero object
Small turn that shows form without becoming a spin
Higher intensity is more arresting and less kind to baked-in text.
Told up front

We warn you about your own text

Baked-in headlines can distort under strong motion — letters stretch, kerning slides, a logo softens. Most tools let you discover that after rendering. We check what you uploaded, tell you before you spend anything, and point you at the intensity that keeps your type intact.

Heavy baked-in text

A flag is advice, not a block. You can still push the intensity if you want to.
Deliberately small

It does one thing, so it costs almost nothing

No script, no voiceover, no re-design, no approval stages. Your ad was already made and already signed off — asking you to rebuild it from a brief would be the wrong tool. This is priced and built to be run across a whole folder of existing creative in an afternoon.

Use Cases

  • Performance marketer with a winning staticTurn the creative that already converts into a motion version and test it in the placements that reward video, without rebuilding anything.

  • Brand with a back catalogue of adsAnimate an entire folder of approved creative in an afternoon, instead of picking one and commissioning it.

  • Social team posting dailyGive a static offer post enough movement to survive the feed, keeping the layout your brand already signed off.

  • Ecommerce seller with packshotsAdd a light sweep or a gentle rotate to a product still so it reads as an object rather than a catalogue photo.

  • Agency proving a conceptShow a client the motion version of their own approved ad in the same meeting they approved it.

  • Anyone without a video budgetGet a usable motion asset without a script, a voiceover, or a production process.

Frequently Asked Questions

One finished static ad image, up to 5MB. Whatever you already run — a feed ad, a story frame, a packshot with an offer on it. There is no brief to write; the file is the brief.

It can, at high intensity — letters stretch and kerning slides when a frame moves a long way. We detect heavy baked-in text before rendering and recommend a gentler setting, and the push-in motion is the safest of the four because everything travels together. You can override the advice.

No. The aspect ratio is detected from your upload and locked, so a 4:5 stays 4:5 and a 9:16 stays 9:16. Nothing is reframed without you asking.

No, by design. Your ad already carries its message in the artwork — adding narration to a static ad usually fights the layout rather than helping it. If you want a scripted, spoken film, Ad Film Studio is the right tool.

A short clip — long enough to register as motion in a feed and short enough to loop cleanly. This is a movement pass on an existing ad, not a film.

Yes. Change the motion style or the intensity and run it again. Because the tool does one small thing, iterating is cheap enough to be worth doing.

An MP4, ready to upload anywhere the static version already runs.

Any image works, but it is tuned for finished advertising creative — a clear subject, an intentional layout and a defined background. A busy screenshot or a low-resolution file will not animate convincingly.
