Influencer Finder
TurboAgents Influencer Finder is an AI tool that searches Instagram for creators in your niche, reads their recent posts one by one to work out what a typical post really gets, scores how well each one fits your brand, and finds a public way to contact them — so you approach people on measured numbers instead of follower counts.
Find creators worth paying — and see ten of them before you spend a thing.
Describe your niche or paste a product URL and the engine goes looking across four different discovery routes, then opens each promising creator and reads their recent posts individually. You get a ranked shortlist built on median performance, a side-by-side comparison of your favourites, a read on which of their posts were paid partnerships, and a first message ready to send.

What influencer discovery actually costs you today.
Finding creators is the easy half. Any search box returns handles. The expensive half is working out which of those handles is worth money — whether the engagement is real, whether a typical post performs anything like the pinned one at the top, whether they have run brand deals before, and how to reach them without a mutual connection.
That vetting is what influencer platforms charge $200–800 a month for, and it is all derivable from public posts. Influencer Finder does the derivation: it opens the recent grid, reads each post, and reports the middle of the range rather than the top of it. Here is the vocabulary it reports in:
- Median engagement rate
- The middle post’s engagement, not the average. One viral post can drag an average up thirtyfold — we have measured the same creator at 16.31% mean and 0.55% median.
- Fit score
- A 0–100 score computed in our own code from measured signals — niche match, audience size band, posting rhythm and engagement quality. The model explains the number; it never invents it.
- Disclosed partnership
- A post carrying a paid-partnership label. We separate these from a creator’s own posts so a brand-deal comparison is not quietly mixed with organic reach.
- Posting cadence
- How often they actually publish, measured across the recent grid with pinned posts excluded — a pinned post from last year makes a daily poster look dormant.
Picking creators from your own feed means picking the ones who already reached you — the opposite of a growth strategy. So brands fall back on follower count, pay for a post that lands on nobody, and have no way of knowing beforehand. The alternative is a platform subscription costing more per month than the first creator you would have hired.
How It Works
What a shortlist row actually tells you.
| Metric | Creator A | Creator B | Creator C |
|---|---|---|---|
| Followers | 41,200 | 88,600 | 19,400 |
| Median engagement | 4.8% | 0.9% | 6.2% |
| Mean engagement | 5.1% | 14.7% | 6.0% |
| Posts per month | 11.7 | 1.2 | 8.4 |
| Last posted | 3 days ago | 9 days ago | 2 days ago |
| Fit score | 87 | 44 | 81 |
- ▸Creator B has the biggest audience and the worst median. One post carried the average — the middle post gets under a fifth of Creator A’s engagement.
- ▸Creator A posts almost twelve times a month. A pinned post made a naive reading call them dormant; the recent grid says otherwise.
- ▸Creator C is the smallest and engages best. Ranked band-relative, so a micro account is not automatically first.
- ▸Two of the three have run disclosed partnerships before, which usually means they have a rate card and reply to briefs.
Illustrative figures. Real runs report only what was measured on the posts actually read.
What You Get
- A ranked shortlist — Creators ordered by a fit score computed in our own code, with every component of that score shown.
- Median engagement per creator — Read post by post across the recent grid, so one viral hit cannot flatter the number.
- True cadence and last-active date — Measured with pinned posts excluded, which is the difference between “dormant” and “posts weekly”.
- Ten real handles, free — Shown before anything is charged whenever the pool looks weak, so you never buy a list unseen.
- A side-by-side compare tab — Two to five creators on measured data only, with unmeasured fields left honestly blank.
- Brand posts split from their own — Disclosed partnerships, possible ones and organic posts separated rather than averaged together.
- A public contact path — Where one exists — and scored down, not hidden, where it does not.
- A first outreach message — Written from the creator’s actual recent posts, not a template with a name dropped in.
- A free query check — Flags a search phrase that will return shops or dead handles before you spend anything on it.
- Reach bands, labelled as estimates — What a typical post reaches. We do not quote fees, because nobody outside the negotiation can.
Where other market research tools stop, this keeps going.
Most tools hand you a PDF and walk away. TurboAgents gives you two things a static report can’t: charts you can actually use, and an analyst you can actually talk to.
You see ten real creators before you pay
Discovery runs on our credits. When the pool is weak — too thin, too many shops, too many dead handles — the run stops and shows you ten actual handles, and you decide whether to go on. Nothing is charged until you have seen who is in there. It is the one question every influencer tool refuses to answer before taking your money.
A score you can actually take apart
The fit score is computed in our own code from things we measured on the posts we read — never asked of a model and never rounded up. Every component is shown, so when a creator scores 87 you can see which part earned it, and disagree with the weighting if you want to.
Ranges, because rates are not public
We will not print a fee we cannot know. Creator rates are negotiated privately and only become real after outreach, so instead of inventing a number we show the reach band a creator sits in and leave the money to your conversation. Any tool quoting you an exact price per post is guessing with a confident font.
AI vs. an influencer platform vs. doing it from your own feed.

Use Cases
- →
DTC brand running its first creator campaign — Get a ranked shortlist and a first message without committing to a platform subscription that costs more than the campaign.
- →
Agency pitching influencer work — Walk into the meeting with real handles, real medians and a defensible score, rather than three names off the client’s own feed.
- →
Social manager with a small budget — Find the micro creators who out-engage accounts ten times their size, ranked band-relative so they are not buried under bigger names.
- →
Founder who keeps getting ghosted — Reach people through a public contact path with a message that references their actual posts, which is most of why replies happen.
- →
Marketer auditing a creator someone else picked — Run one handle and see whether the numbers behind the follower count hold up before the invoice is approved.
- →
Brand comparing a final two or three — Put them side by side on measured data only, with the honest gaps left visibly blank instead of filled with a guess.
Frequently Asked Questions
Nothing. Discovery runs on our credits. When a pool looks weak the run pauses and shows you ten real creators for free, and you choose whether to continue. If the pool is clearly healthy the run carries on rather than charging you for an extra click — and either way you are only ever charged once, for the full analysis.
Instagram. We would rather do one platform on measured data than four on guesses. TikTok and YouTube are not supported today.
It opens the creator’s recent grid and reads roughly a dozen posts individually, then reports the median — the middle post. Averages are badly distorted by one viral hit; we have measured a single creator at 16.31% mean against 0.55% median. The median is the number you should be budgeting against.
No, and we will not pretend otherwise. We measure engagement honestly and show you the numbers, which is usually enough to spot an account that is not performing — but detecting purchased followers is not something public data reliably supports. Any tool claiming it does is overselling.
No. Three of the four discovery routes read a search index rather than Instagram directly, so the pool is a good sample, not a census. We say so rather than implying the list is exhaustive.
Because it can change the results by a factor of a thousand. Job titles work well in bio search — “nutritionist” returns real people — while product words return shops and resellers. Hashtag search behaves in exactly the opposite way. A built-in check flags a weak phrase before you spend anything.
Carefully, because pinned posts break the two most-used numbers. Recency is taken from the newest real post rather than whatever sits first in the grid, and cadence excludes pinned posts. Without that, a creator posting almost twelve times a month reads as dormant for nine months.
Yes. Tick two to five and the compare tab puts them together on measured data only. A “best” badge appears only where higher or lower genuinely means better — never on follower count or number of past brand deals — and engagement is ranked relative to audience band, so the smallest account does not automatically win.
It splits recent posts into disclosed partnerships, possible ones, and the creator’s own. The paid-versus-organic comparison drops the “possible” group rather than guessing. And when no labelled ads appear, we report that as “none we could see” — not as proof they have never run one.
A public contact path for each creator you tick, plus a first message written from their actual posts rather than a template with a name dropped in. It is charged separately from the search, so you only pay for the ones you actually intend to approach.
No. Creator rates are private and only become real once you have talked, so a quoted fee would be invention. You get the reach bands we measured and the money stays in your negotiation.
Your tokens come back automatically. You are never charged for a search that could not complete.
